Chief Dental Officers
Chief Dental Officers will meet on 21st and 23rd November in Lisbon, to share knowledge and experiences and to examine and debate strategies for the promotion of oral health in different EU countries. The meeting is organised jointly by the Portuguese Directorate-General of Health and the Portuguese Dental Association (Ordem dos Médicos Dentistas). Its mission is to advise different European decision-making bodies on matters regarding oral health.
The Chief Dental Officer in Portugal is currently Dr. Rui Manuel Calado (Portuguese Directorate-General of Health) who, as such, is a member of the European Council of Chief Dental Officers.
